The typical loan is normally up to $1,200 and is repaid over 12 - 18 months.
To be eligible you must be a bona fide resident of the
Adelaide Hills Council or surrounding districts for more than 6 months.
The Home Energy Savings Scheme (HESS) will also provide assistance to NILS borrowers who purchase white goods appliances with a star rating of 3.5 or more. For example, subsidies range from $150 for a small refrigerator to $600 for a large one.
