On this trip, major clean-up work was conducted in and around the Mamungari (then the "Unnamed") Conservation Park. Several kilometres of overhanging track vegetation were cleared and eight car bodies were removed from the desert area.
Several vegetation surveys were also conducted and the Friends began to get their heads around the various biosurvey methodologies.
As in 2005, the Friends worked under the very able direction of Senior Ranger Brett Dalzell from the DEH Ceduna Office.
