Introduction by Ken Thompson

2006 is the 30th year since the club was founded. The inaugural meeting was held in the State Library on June 1st 1976.

To mark this event this online history was commenced. It is hoped that this can completed during the early part of next year. Where possible past presidents were contacted and asked to recall some of their memories of the club. I have built on this with my own research,  contributions from other members and the club archives. As each section becomes active a working link will appear in the list of contents below. Thanks to the contributors so far. They are Barry Wheeler, Phil Hazell, Alison Radford and Mike Hicks.

1989 2004 North Adelaide map completed
1990 2005 Tintookies is Australian Club Champion.
  2006 Club organises SA Champs on new map at Ngaralta Country
