Objects of the Association:
- to promote the interests of ratepayers
and residents of Murray Bridge and surrounding districts which
fall under the Local Government area of the Rural City of Murray
Bridge.
- to promote business and trade, including
tourism
- to improve and/or support any public facilities
in the area
- to support, if thought fit, candidates
for election to Local Government
- to promote any projects or policies which
the Association adopts
- to make representation to local, State
and Federal governments on issues which impact on the local area
- to do any other matters or things conducive
to the above objects

Membership
- All residents and ratepayers of the defined
local government area, ie. The Rural City of Murray Bridge, and
upon payment of an annual subscription, are eligible for membership.
- Subscriptions: Currently this amount is
set at $10 per family or $20 per business, and is set at each
Annual General Meeting.
- Management: The business and management
of the Association is vested in the Executive
Committee, elected at the first General Meeting, following the
AGM.
- Executive Committee: The Executive committee
comprises a President, Secretary, and Treasurer and any number
of committee members.
- Annual General Meeting: An AGM is held
every year, and is usually in July.
