Title: The Grounds of Old Government House

The grounds of Old Government House have been extensively renovated and replanted since the time of the Governors. The gardens are now in a mid-Victorian style, with a wide range of plants and trees and a particularly stunning collection of heritage roses. The circular lawn is particularly popular for wedding ceremonies.

A dedicated gardener works to maintain the grounds. Members of the Friends of Old Government House assist the gardener on regular gardening mornings on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.

If you would like further information on the wedding options available at Old Government House and If you would like to help the gardening group, please contact Annette.
