GREEN HUB DEMONSTRATION PROJECT

 Coromandel Community Centre is being supported by the City of Onkaparinga to become a Green Hub demonstration project.

 As part of the Green Hub project we are pleased to announce that  the following recycling services are now available

• Fluorescent tube and power saving globe collection point.

• Used battery collection point  (Car batteries excluded)

• Mobile phone collection point

All the Centre's water is sourced from a 50,000 litre underground rainwater tank, the water being triple filtered to ensure clients well-being.  There is a 2kW solar array mounted on the roof of the Centre and this provides power for the Centre and feeds power back into the grid when the Centre is not being used.  In addition all storm water flowing from our car-park is now directed through our wetland before it enters Chamber's Creek.
