The Wills & Securities Register
of Australia is where WILL MAKERS PTY. LTD. holds:-
A. Wills and Codicils to Wills;
B. Enduring Powers of Attorney;
C. Enduring Powers of Guardian;
D. Medical Powers of Attornies
(if any);
E. Any other documents like Certificates
of Titles and Deeds which is accepted for holding in
the absolute
discretion of the company from the following persons desiring
their documents
to be held
in safe deposit until death:-
1. Clients of Will Makers Pty Ltd from 1994 onwards;
2.
Former clients of Peter Pearce from 1956 to 2001 when clients
had requested it;
3.
Any new clients of Will Makers Pty Ltd:-
(a)
wherever they made their Wills (some conditions may apply);
(b)
for their own Wills if Will Makers Pty Ltd is assisting with
any estate
of
a relation.
The first Wills & Securities Register of Australia was opened
in the ANZ Bank Brighton in 1995 as a unique venture to guard
against lost and stolen documents and the difficulties encountered
by the public when their solicitor dies or retires or changes
from one firm to another and also when public trustee companies
change their name or are “taken over” by another
company or go into liquidation.
Will Makers Pty Ltd moved to the city for the convenience of
clients and so that it would be available in the daytime on
normal weekdays from 9-00 a.m. to 5-00 p.m. The first City office
(and now ONE of TWO City Offices) is at 345 King William Street
but one needs to phone first to arrange for a withdrawal or
deposit of a document.

2778 and the Registrar will be able to attend to any matters
for old or new clients.
The modest amount of $20 per person as an establishment fee
with this Company includes the lodgement of documents and (when
the normal standard Contract is signed) for the other benefits
which are set out in the page available from this page titled
“WHO TO BE EXECUTORS”.
When a Will is made through Will Makers Pty Ltd a Form of Notification
of Change of Address is supplied to the client and “if
and when” the client changes address that Form is filled
in with the new address so that our records are kept up to date.
After lodgement of a Will etc the client receives a written
letter of acknowledgement “confirming that the Original
Will is retained in the Wills & Securities Register of Australia.
