	Moving In / Setting Up Centacare received the key for the Community House on 19 April 2002. Much of the time since has been used to get the place set up. It was officially opened on  July 11, 2002. Play equipment was installed on 12 September 2002. One project that is well underway is the Community Garden. Numerous vegetables have been planted such as spinach, broad beans, onions, carrots and garlic. The two front gardens have been planted with flowers including native shrubs. There is space for more. The Community House won a $1000 Community Garden Grant from the Australian Open Gardens Scheme. It also entered the Housing Trust Gardening Together 2002 Competition and won the Best Community Garden - Whyalla Region Section..

	Funding This program does not have recurrent funding as yet. Donations of plants, furniture etc have been received from various community members and organisations. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. TOP
