The Broughton Art Society has offered community-based art classes to people with a disability for thirty-seven years. Today, we provide a range of studio-based art classes to approximately 100 participants and, a further 28 participants access our Outreach Service in the Western and north eastern Suburbs. Without our service their talents may never be tapped into for many reasons including, changing world perception and loss of confidence (as in the case of Brain Injury), and/or missed potential because of a sensory, cognitive, intellectual or physical/neurological disability.
