Australian Government Envirofund:
The Australian Government Envirofund provided a $30,000
grant in 2003, which helped get the 'Valley of the Bandicoots' project
up and running.
The Australian Government Envirofund has provided a
further $10,000 grant in 2004 to fund some aspects of the 'Phase 2'
of the Valley of the Bandicoots.

Onkaparinga Catchment Water Management Board :
The Onkaparinga Catchment Water Management Board has provided a $30,000 grant
to fund 'Phase 2' of the Valley of the Bandicoots in 2004.

Email Media:
Email Media, a local Aldgate business, provided a $5,000
donation to 'Valley of the Bandicoots' in 2003, and a further $7,500
donation in 2004.

Adelaide Hills Council has provided considerable in-kind support to the' Valley of the Bandicoots'.

Mt Lofty Ranges Animal and Plant Control Board:
The Mt Lofty Animal & Plant Control Board has generously supported the
Valley of the Bandicoots by providing employment facilities for our project
officer. |

Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary: Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary has been very generous with advice about bandicoots, equipment and in-kind support, and in promoting our project through its networks.

Green Corps:
Our thanks to the terrific Green
Corps team who conducted a major, six-month project in 2003 - Team Leader
Peter Spinks, and the team: Chantelle Pillar, Jessica Zimmerman, Lachland
Reid, Lee Maxwell, Michael Blight and Saskia Goodhew and Phil Grace.
Other Green Corps teams have also helped us out with tree planting etc.
Youth Conservation Corps:
Our thanks also to the Youth Conservation Corps team led by Kerrie Stewart which has been
working on the project in the first half of 2004.

SA manages Nurrutti Reserve, and has been very supportive of Valley of
the Bandicoots. |
Aldgate Primary School: Our thanks
to Principal Sue Coad & all the staff, students and parents at the
Aldgate Primary School, who brough the Valley of the Bandicoots into the
classroom (and vice versa). The Aldgate Primary School is now creating
a native wetland as part of the project. |
Residents of the Aldgate Valley: The
residents whose properties adjoin the Valley of the Bandicoots, and also
the Aldgate Valley Landcare Group members and other volunteers, are the
heart and soul of our project. Their volunteer work on their own properties,
and their willingness to help out with work on public land, has made it
all possible. |
Department of Environment and Heritage: The
Valley of the Bandicoots works within the context of the draft Recovery
Plan for the Southern Brown Bandicoot in the Mt Lofty Ranges, and we have
received advice and support from the Department of Environment and Heritage
in this regard. |
