Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race Dinner
The Oxford Society will host the Boat Race Dinner on Friday 6 May at the Naval, Military and Air Force Club. All members and friends are invited to celebrate the expected repeat of last year's clean-sweep by the Oxford crews.

Second Oxford Public Lecture for 2015
The second Oxford Public Lecture for 2015 was held on 7 October. This special event has a strong connection with South Australia and the Naval, Military and Airman's Club where Stanley Watson was a member. The author of the subject book, Rhodes Scholar Josh Funder, is Stanley Watson's great grandson.
Boat Race Dinner 2015
The Cambridge Society hosted the Boat Race Dinner on Friday 8 May at 7.30pm. Members and friends celebrated the clean-sweep achieved by Oxford crews this year.
Oxford University Society (SA Branch) Public Lecture 2015 Announced
Ian Henschke delivered the Oxford Alumni Lecture on 20th March 2015, at the Naval, Military and Air Force Club. Ian is widely recognised as a true South Australian broadcasting professional.
In 1999 Ian won a fellowship to Oxford University to study climate change and went on to make the international and national award-winning documentary Emission Impossible for the ABC and BBC.
New President for OU Alumni of South Australia
In a short speech delivered at the recent Sundowner event, outgoing president Dr Chris Hughes handed on the presidential baton to Rita Coleman.
Rita was elected unopposed in the customary manner. The committee would like to thank Chris for his faithful service and sage leadership in recent times and we look forward to working with Rita.
2015 Rhodes Scholar Announced
Kelli Francis-Staite, a 22-year-old Adelaide University pure mathematics student was recently announced as South Australia's Rhodes Scholar for 2015.
Kelli will move to Oxford in 2015 to complete a DPhil in differential geometry. We formally wished her well at the Sundowner in late November. The Advertiser recently carried the following article.
Adelaide Oxonion in Boston Marathon
In April, Ian Watson (Jesus, 2001) travelled to Boston, MA to compete in the world-famous Boston Marathon. See details of his trip here.
