Welcome to Waikerie and Districts Machinery Preservation Society Inc.

The Waikerie and Districts Machinery Preservation Society would like to welcome you to our website. Here you will be able to view all our latest news and upcoming events, access membership forms and view some images of club activities.

The Waikerie and Districts Machinery Preservation Society group was founded on the 25th August 1995 by a group of people with a common interest in preserving the machinery of our past. In particular, tractors, stationary engines, trucks, cars, motorcycles and farming machinery manufactured anywhere in the world.

Membership is open to anyone who shares this interest whether or not they own any machinery. Meetings are held on the second Thursday  of each month at 7:30 pm in the meeting room of the Waikerie Machinery Museum, Rowe Street (near the pumping station and ferry), Waikerie.

The club’s two day bi-annual rally, "Hit ‘n’ Miss", is held in August, at Benson Park, 13 km east of Waikerie on the Sturt Highway. Set in a unique bush environment, other clubs from around Australia join our members to display engines, tractors, machinery and vehicles to the public.

The 2017 Hit 'n' Miss Rally will be held on the weekend of August 12th/13th.
