The Friends of Granite Island are committed to providing an accessible website for all to use and enjoy. We welcome all types of people to the Island, and also to our website.

We aim to meet Level AAA rating of the World Wide Web Consortium WCAG Guidelines. Read more about these guidelines.

Our website aims to:

• provide text equivalents for all images or videos added to the site

• allow visitors to access information if their browser has Javascript either disabled or enabled

• ensure colour contrasts are not relied upon to show information

• be easy to navigate

• be resizable on different screen sizes

• provide controls for all elements that can be accessed via keyboard or mouse
