Football Club

Mount Torrens merged with Mount Pleasant in 2004 to form the Torrens Valley Football Club (Mountain Lions), the home ground being Mount Pleasant.  

Torrens Valley won the Country Division premiership in 2005, 2007 and 2010. Torrens Valley was subsequently promoted to the Central Division where it currently competes.

Mount Torrens Tennis Club

Mount Torrens Tennis Club participates in the Torrens Valley Tennis Association.

The club has teams in A, B and C Grades, A being the most competitive with C offering a more social competition. We also offer five junior teams. Coaching for all junior grades is on Wednesday afternoons, starting at 4.30pm for beginners and then going on to older junior members. 

The season kicks off in October and runs through to March.

Mount Torrens TC is a family oriented club and the season is punctuated with events such as a Family open day/Registration day, Christmas breakup, Beach day, BBQ nights and end of season trophy presentation day. The club puts out a regular newsletter that keeps members informed and up to date.

Mount Torrens Cricket Club

Mount Torrens Cricket Club participates in the Torrens Valley Cricket Association.

The club fields A and B Grade teams and is based at the community oval. Team practice is on Thursdays commencing at 5.30pm.
