Joining the NP&SP Community Gardens Association, Inc. is easy: simply fill out a membership application form, read the simple, common-sense rules of the garden, pay the annual membership fee. Once your application is approved by the Management Committee you'll receive the information you need to get out there and start gardening!
Is there anything more satisfying than growing your own fruit and veg? That first taste of a fresh tomato, the thrill of picking a strawberry and eating it straight away. With the Linde Community Garden scheme of "all-in" you'll have access to the freshest green grocers in town.
You might be an expert in potatoes but know nothing about beans - in a community garden you're likely to run into somebody who can teach you, and who wants to learn from you about potatoes. Some of the learning is informal sharing, and some is through workshops and special events with experts.
Someone once said, "Flowers grow in flower gardens; vegetables grow in veggie gardens, and people grow in community gardens." Get to know neighbours and make new friends as we tackle the challenges and reap the harvests of gardening together.
It's easy:
1. Download a membership application. Read the simple, common-sense rules of the garden.
2. Mail, email or bring your form in person to the garden for approval by the Management Committee along with your annual membership fee (see the rates on the membership application).
3. You'll be contacted with the information you need to start gardening.
