Each member and their family is covered travelling to and from and whilst at any Scouting function where they participate. This also covers the insurance for the equipment we use. The cost of the equipment comes from the funds we raise ourselves. Members are asked to wear a uniform to meeting nights and parents are asked to help keep them tidy and encourage the scouter to look after and be proud of wearing the uniform. The uniform consists of a navy shirt with sleeves in the colour of the section (Joeys - tan; Cubs - yellow; Scouts - green), a green State necky (scarfe) and woggle (scarfe tie), a blue bucket hat with the Scout emblem for Joeys and Cubs and a Johnson hat for the Scouts. It is group policy that members wear navy pants or shorts to section meetings. The stone pants with zip off legs for shorts from the Scout Shop must be worn for formal ceremonies.
