Pre 07 Envirofund Project
Landholders working on Rehabilitation of Wether Station Creek

Home Pre-project Photos Early Re-veg progress

Prior to the Start of the Envirofund supported project in 2007 (referred to as Stage 1) some landholders had begun work on dams and creek-lines.

Work on parts of the catchment started with control of woody weeds in upper areas in the North West by the Friends of Kenneth Stirling Conservation Park and closer to Balhannah, by the (former) Onkaparinga Catchment Board and Alistair McFarlane at Tori Park, fronting Swamp Road.

Major removal of Willows on Glengyle was started and completed in 2004 by Barry Windle and several years of revegetation planting on Glengyle are shown in the pre-project photos and some of the Stage 1 photo points.  Early plantings were made by the land-owners and the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges NRM Board.
