"U3A" Who are we, and what do we do?
Firstly we are a social group, secondly we are a great bunch of people and thirdly, maybe you can learn something while having fun.
U3A people are 50 plus years; like to mix with others, to learn a bit, laugh a bit, and enjoy fellowship of other like minded people (we have all types so I'm sure you'll fit in).
After you have decided what courses you would like to attend you call the office to get the teachers phone number (we don't like to put them here because of crackpots). They will be able to tell you if there is a vacancy, and anything else you wish to know about the subject. Then on enrollment day you come in and pay your money and enroll, that's all there is to it.
Most courses, if there are vacancies, will allow new students in part way through the turn, but the final decision is with the person running the class.
