OCEANA CHAMPIONSHIPS
April 2003 saw representatives from Australia compete against skaters from New Zealand and Japan in the annual Oceana International Competition. South Australia was represented by Natasha Gundlach from the Skate FX club placing a very credible 4th position in the Junior Ladies Freeskating.

 

AUSTRALIAN ROLLER SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Held 7-12th July 2002, Clipsal Powerhouse, Adelaide

Recently three of our club members were selected to represent South Australia to compete at the National Artistic Roller Sports Championships held in Adelaide, competing against skaters from Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.


Our club skaters achieved two gold medals and one silver medal in their events.  Kris retained her title of National Champion in the Advanced Masters Figures grade, having won the title in 2001 in Sydney.
Kym Griffiths won the Masters Freeskating event, with Kim Rhodes following closely in second place.

A total of 9 South Australian Artistic Skaters were selected to represent the state at this years National Titles their results are as follows

Junior International Ladies Freeskating
8th Place - Natasha Gundlach (Skate FX)
