Volunteer Tutors - ESL and Literacy

Reading, Writing, English and/or Maths

Volunteers are needed, usually 2 hours per week, to assist in the provision of individual tutoring. Training provided.

Time: 10.00 am - 12 noon & 12 noon - 2.30 pm

Day: Wednesdays

Tax Help

Volunteers trained by the Australian Taxation Office are available to assist low-income people (those earning under $40,000) with their Tax Returns. This service is available from July to October each year. Tax Help days for 2009 are Wednesday and Friday.

Bookings are essential and clients must have received their appropriate paper work from their workplace or Centrelink before making their bookings.

Justice of the Peace

In term 1 2010, commencing the 3td of January - April, the Centre will have a Justice of the Peace on site to assist Community members between 10.00am and 2.00pm every Wednesday.
