Kangaroo Island Climate
Relatively mild conditions are experienced during both summer and winter, typical of the insular character of island climates. At times, cool ocean breezes make warm, windproof clothing necessary, while central areas of the Island occasionally experience temperatures of 35-40°C. Average Kingscote temperatures - January maximum 23.5°C/75°F; minimum temperature 14.6°C/58°F. June maximum 15.2°C/60°F; minimum temperature 9.2°C/49°F. Average rain days in January - 2; in June - 12.
