About The MuseumThe museum is housed in the Hog Bay School Building, the third school to bebuilt (1922). Discover the history and shipwrecks of Kangaroo Island in the Maritime Room, the early settlers' activities in the McKenzie Room and education aspects in the Schoolroom. Displays are organised in such a way that visitors can gain a feel for the history of Kangaroo Island from histories of maritime activity, education, agriculture and the early settlers. |
