The boys played really well, had plenty of
changes but were unable to hit the back of the net. This has
been the problem that we have had for most of the year. This
result has made the div 1 competition even tighter and has
proven it is very difficult to predict a winner for any game,
all teams are very evenly matched.
B
team: Macedonia 1 Eliz Downs 1
The B's played one of the best games for the
year and dominated a lot of the play in the first half, scoring
a well worked and earned goal but unfortunately could not
finish off the game and eventually conceded a goal.
C
team: Macedonia 0 Eliz Downs 2
Under the new coach Borgy the boys tried a new system that
worked really well and totally dominated the first half, until
a silly defensive error lead to us conceding the first goal.
Unfortunately fitness proved to be the difference between
the two teams and Downs went on to dominate the second half
and win the game 2:0
