Location

Kingscote CFS Station is located on the corner of Giles Street and Telegraph Road, Kingscote. We are co-located with the Kangaroo Island SES.

Current Membership is 54

The station is has a Radio communications room, General Meeting room and small kitchen facility area.

The Kingscote Brigade attends rural bush fires, domestic building fires, fixed alarm monitoring, burn offs, chemical spills, gas fires and participate in partnership with SES at road accidents along with other rescue tasks where additional personnel are required. Our Brigade is often required to assist other brigades with campaign fires and large incidents.

In house training is conducted at the station on the first Friday evening of every month.

Each Sunday morning, station and appliance maintenance is conducted. Radio's and Pagers are tested around the island on these maintenance days also.

Our Community relies heavily on volunteer services and as such, is highly recognized throughout the Kangaroo Island community.
