The 'Friends of Cobbler Creek' was formed in 1990 to assist in the development
and management of Cobbler Creek Recreation Park, which is part of a natural corridor
from the Golden Grove Township, on the Golden Grove Road, to Bridge Road, Salisbury East.
We have developed a strong community spirit and also organise group social events.
We invite you to join us... [family membership - $10 per year]
WHERE? We meet at the Salisbury East Neighbourhood House,
Smith Road, Salisbury East
WHEN? The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month
TIME? Meetings commence at 7 p.m. with a duration of
approximately one and a half hours
Meetings:
Discuss general business of the Park and adjacent reserves and at some meetings
Guest Speakers give talks on relevant topics
Working Bees:
Held on the first Saturday of the month within the Park.
Depending on the season, the activities vary from planting trees
to weed eradication, bird watching plus more!
