The Centre makes the ideal venue for family parties.
Tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, and glassware are provided for up to 80 people, and are included in the hiring fees. There are special rates for community groups, so consider the Centre for any functions or meetings your group may wish to hold.  The maximum capacity for the Centre for private functions is 100 people.

• Clean up time for the day after a function (Fri, Sat, Sun only) must be before 9am - this booking for extra time can only be confirmed two weeks prior to the function when final payment is made.

• A minimum deposit of $100 is required within 2 weeks of an enquiry being made and paper work issued.

• If an event is cancelled after the deposit is paid the the deposit will NOT be refunded.

• N.B.  Security Guards are essential for 16 - 25 year old parties whether birthday parties or not.  Please contact us for current rates.

• If the function requires the use of the outside gazebo area and the blinds for this area are needed, an additional fee of $12 will apply.

are the same as above but there are very limited opportunities for hiring during the week because of the heavy schedule of courses offered at the Centre.

Community Groups

Hire is at the discretion of the Office Manager and the Management Committee. Please contact the Centre on 8370 6880 for details.

Regular Hirers

By negotiation will be charged $12 per hour (No GST or Bond) $10.00 Key Deposit will be refunded when their agreement is terminated. Community Groups need their own Public Liability Insurance.

Electric Barbecue

An electric Barbecue with lighting is available beneath the gazebo.
Installed by the Weymouth Recreation Ground sub committee, part funding for this Barbecue was provided by a grant from the City of Onkaparinga.We look forward to families and friends enjoying the facility, and to the smell of barbecues cooking.
The Oval makes a great spot to relax and explore, especially in spring and autumn, with the creek running, and the new playground being so tempting.
A new Electric BBQ is now situated on the edge of Weymouth Oval adjacent to the Public Toilets.

Photocopier

If you need to do photocopying call into the Centre and use the equipment at very reasonable rates. Photocopying from 3 cents per copy if you provide your own paper.
5 cents a copy for A4. Colour photocopying rates available on application.
