Future Project

Sunday May 15th 2011 there is a celebration during the SA History Festival. It will be in the Angaston Town hall and the Angaston Railway precinct marking 100 years since the opening of the Town hall and 100 years since the coming of the railway to Angaston. A history display, entertainment, machinery display and afternoon tea is planned. This is a combined initiative of the A&PHS, The Town hall Committee, Barossa Machinery preservation Society and the Angaston Management Group

BLACKSMITH SHOP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Would you like to help as a doorkeeper/tour guide or even try your hand at blacksmithing on Saturdays/Sundays from 1.00-4.00 p.m.? Please contact Ron Schilling 8564 2349 or call into the shop for more information. You would be required to attend on a roster basis at the Doddridge Blacksmith Shop, 19 Murray Street, Angaston.
